Charles Hinckley, Managing Partner of New York Investment Banking Firm
New York resident Charles “Chuck” Hinckley serves as managing partner of CC Hinckley Co., a financial services firm he established in 1998. The firm focuses on renewable and clean technology investment banking and advisory, with an emphasis on long-term clients, energy storage, electric vehicles, fuel cells, and sustainable agriculture. While managing his firm, Charles “Chuck” Hinckley has also held other positions, such as serving as managing director and co-head of the New York office of Marathon Capital, where he helped expand the firm’s M&A services. He also served as president and CEO of AWCC Capital, LLC, which primarily arranged the sale and leaseback financing of real estate assets for solar power projects.
Mr. Hinckley earned a degree in physics from Miami University and also spent time in the United States Navy, where he served as chief engineer of a gas turbine destroyer. From there, he became vice president of operations for KENTECH Corporation, which was the leading wind turbine manufacturer at the time. He entered the financial world when he took a position as vice president of finance for GE Capital.
